NOT GETTING BUSINESS IN BNI?

“I didn’t know you deal in that! You never told me!”

 How does it feel when your friend/relative told that they bought something from your competitor? 

 Absolutely TERRIBLE right? 

 It should never happen. 
 At least in BNI. 

 But sometimes even in BNI it happens. 
 And if it happens...the only person to be blamed is YOU... 
Yes...You!! 

 Now why did this happen? 
 It could have happened because of lots of reasons and to avoid that you need to do the following : 





 1. EXPLAIN WHAT YOU DO 
When you do your Weekly Presentation....keep changing the content. 
 Dont get restricted to just 3-4 types. 
 Members tend to get stuck on 3-4 presentations which have been appreciated and dont move on. 
 This could gradually result in members "forgetting" your "other" products/services and may not be able to refer you 
 And when the Feature Presentation comes, dont miss the golden opportunity of educating of all your products. Yes...focus on your TOP 3 but do give the list of things you do/deal in. 
 And most importantly, have a Elaborate, regular 1-2-1 and explain everything you do. 


 2. EXPLAIN HOW YOU DO WHAT YOU DO 
For this the 1-2-1 with your chapter member is the ideal way. 
 You need to explain the processes that you follow and make sure that your chapter member goes with the feeling that their referrals will be in good hands. 

Always make sure that the members develop TRUST in what you do.
Show that you actually CARE for your customers and not just interested in making money 




3. EXPERIENCE. 

 Chapter members or for that matter anyone would be comfortable dealing with people who are experienced enough. 
Showcase your experience. 
 If you arent experienced enough, fret not...show your certifications. 
 If you dont have too many certifications....not to worry....show your knowledge/skills with TESTIMONIALS. 
This also in turn, means keep giving TESTIMONIALS to other members in the chapter. This would help THEY get mileage and of course, this increases your TRAFFIC LIGHTS too. 


 4. NUMBER OF CLIENTS : 

 Show the number of Quality people you have dealt with and given your product/services. 
 This could also help your Chapter member get a referral or a contact they were looking for! 



 5. PRICING : 

Sometimes, chapter members may hesitate to recommend you assuming that you may be pricey. This image could be due to the way you dress or the way you pitch. 
 Whatever the reason...if your pricing is clearly understood by your chapter member it makes sense for them to refer you. 
When they have a meeting with you, make sure that they go away with the feeling that you are charges are REASONABLE & FAIR 



FINALLY, 

 Besides all these, keep communicating with your chapter members via Social Media and email (dont bombard their inbox) with effective points of your business. 
 Have your profile updated in BNI Connect 



 And wherever possible, use SIMPLE WORDS. No need to show that you have amazing English. 
The more important thing is to get the MESSAGE ACROSS. 



 Do all these and not only the THANK YOU SLIPS that you will be giving will shoot up but even your TRAFFIC LIGHTS too.
